Salt Lake City Homes: Staging

Staging is where everything is placed and arranged in the house like furniture, art, the entertainment center, television and other accessories.  Staging involves moving and removing items.  Staging can also involve cleaning your home so it looks better than ever.  Shampooing the carpets and removing clutter off the kitchen counters can help.

Sometimes, a room can be made to appear bigger with less stuff in it.  Also, a buyer may feel more at home if you put away your family pictures.  Little adjustments like these can make the difference in getting a Buyer excited about your Salt Lake City home and getting it sold.

If your home lacks curb appeal, some of the best buyers will skip it and you’ll be stuck with buyers that want to fix it up.  If it looks like a fixer upper it will sell for less because the buyer’s it does attract, see it as a home with potential and they want eqPreparing the Interior Décoruity on their way in and therefore will offer less than a strong buyer.

Keep in mind that your home is not the only one for sale and buyers will compare it to other Salt Lake City homes for sale. So create curb appeal, make repairs, prime and paint, take care of the yard and landscaping, plant flowers, put things away and clean it up.  Make your home inviting!
