The mechanical systems include the roof, electrical, plumbing, heating & cooling, foundation and structure. These items do not typically create the same emotions as kitchens and baths, but if they are failing or problematic, they can decrease the value of Salt Lake City homes for sale. These systems should be replaced when or right before the system is failing. If your systems are working and aren’t obsolete, I would not typically recommend any of these high dollar expenses prior to selling your Utah home.
