Salt Lake City Homes: Marketing & Representation

So you’ve made your Salt Lake City home beautiful, and it’s ready to sell.  Time to get it on the market!

Part of what I do as your Utah Realtor is market your Salt Lake City home to Buyers and their Realtors.

First, I will immediately take digital photos, so the moment you go live on the Wasatch Front MLS, the pictures will be there.  This is something most Salt Lake City Realtors don’t do and it gives your home an advantage because Realtors and buyers look for new listings every day and everyone loves to look at the pictures.

Marketing And Representation if Utah Real Estate
Salt Lake City Real Estate Agent

A new Utah home listing without pictures is a mystery and could easily be overlooked and since most of the buyer activity is created at the highest price in the first 4 weeks, there’s no time to waste.

The yard sign, directional and key box will go up right away and the color fact sheets will be delivered quickly after.

I am a Salt Lake City real estate agent and will make appointments for buyers and their agents to see your home and follow up with them for feedback.

And of course I’ll post your Salt Lake City home on multiple internet sites including UtahRealEstate.com, Craigslist & KSL.com.   And your home will be shown exclusively in “My Listings” on both www.SLCHomeBuyer.com and www.SLCHomeSeller.com

But there’s more to it than just marketing as you can see from the topics on this web site.  The rest of what I do as your Realtor is called representation.

Representation consists of many activities including helping you negotiate contract, monitoring inventory levels and prices of the competition, and tracking the transaction of the sale to assure the sale closes.

When it comes to the Utah Real Estate Purchase Contract, there are many elements of an offer.  Many people focus on the price, and that is an important part of any offer, but there’s more to it.

Marketing and Representation

Timing, contingencies, earnest money, does the buyer have a home to sell and what’s the situation with that, the loan, and many other concerns that only an experienced Salt Lake City Realtor like me will know.

All of these things can affect the outcome of the sale of you Salt Lake City home.  Understanding the potential issues that could occur in advance can save you time and money in the long run.

Representation is even more important when a Seller is also buying another home.  The transition is much easier with an experienced Realtor assisting you in the process.  (Put a link to Buying & Selling)
