Salt Lake City Homes: The first 4 weeks your home is on the market

The first 4 weeks your Salt Lake City home in Utah is listed for sale are the most important.  That’s when you’ll get the most money for it because that’s when the greatest amount of qualified Buyers will come to see your home in Salt Lake City with their Realtors.

The reason for this is at any given time, there is a big pool of home buyers in Utah looking for Salt Lake City homes for sale or Utah condos for sale and only a small number of new buyers that start looking each month.  The big pool of Buyers will see your Utah home for sale in the first four weeks.  Most of these Buyers have seen a lot of Salt Lake City homes and are educated on value and condition.

If your home doesn’t sell during the first 4 weeks, you will need to reduce your price to get more buyers through it and to bring back the buyers that have already seen it.

So Pricing your home right is very important because these buyers have seen many homes and know value.  If your home for sale in Utah is overpriced they will likely pass it by.

I am a Salt Lake City real state agent and I help people sell their homes and would like to help you too.
